Art Competition _________
__________
This competition has been held annually since 1966 to encourage youth in the St Louis region to develop a personal awareness and understanding of the diversity within their school and communities and to promote the creativity, innovation, critical thinking, problem solving, flexibility, and observational skills that art education enhances and that are needed by students to be successful in a global economy. The completion is open to all students in the St Louis metropolitan area in grades K-12. First, second and third place winners are selected in the following categories: K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12.
